The main aim of our partnership is to make students know better the historical, economical, social and cultural context and lifestyle of Europeans in the 60s. Not limiting ourselves only to a nostalgic approach, we think that this decade gave foundations for present societies. The past always helps to understand the future better. We would like to put the fears and hopes of the young from the 60s together with those present ones. Activities provided in the project are various, they consider different aspects of life of the 60s. Thanks to antropological approach students will be witnesses of the epque which left its trace on European cultures. We will ask students to search, gather and research pictures, texts, things, architectural objects. These data will allow to discover history, culture, lifestyle. A student actor, antropologist and researcher will refer to family memories, memories of teachers, which will make our project more lively. Mutual enrichment should be in favour of creating European awareness.
Fulfilling our project we are going to 1. make students and teachers unerstand cultural diversity better, with special emphasis on the fact that the two parts of Europe were separated for a long time. The chosen subject should help understand that. 2. enhance the quality and European dimension among teachers and the whole school community as well as enrich by exchanging pedagogical approaches 3.develop necessary life skills by the emphasis on teachers’ group work and interdisciplinary cooperation. 4.help students to gain competence necessary for their personal development, especially by teathre, different forms of artistic expression and prepare them for active European citizenship, which means to shape future citizens who are aware of neccessity of sharing mutual values, mutual experiences, putting emphasis on “being able to be” 5.improve reading, writing and communication skills of students via adjusting the tasks in both national and foreign language (especially connected with family memories) 6.develop innovative skills based on TIK (collecting digital and iconographic data, exchanges among students)
